I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed the NewYear celebrations. 

Today I have been out along Gower Road where many vehicles are parking inconsiderately, blocking all pedestrian access. 

These vehicles have received a warning notice, in the first instance. 

One resident has reported her wing mirror being taken off by a passing cyclist, who was riding on the pavement . She was parked sensibly, allowing for pedestrians, however the cyclist, who should not have been using the pavement, has purposely caused damage to her vehicle.  

We are looking at CCTV & conducting house to house enquiries, in relation to this. 

Please remember to park sensibly, consider disabled persons, elderly and young children. No one should have to jeopardise their own safety.
